Through this storm and stream of tears,

Through the heart break and searing fears,

I remain yours, true and true.

For I can be nought else or wish you rue,

But be faithful and loyal till the end.

In the face of adversities,

Hurts and infidelities,

I remain true to our love.

For that is the vow I made to you.

It will not be made any less,

Nor will it settle for any less.

What would be our plight

If I hurt our essence for requite.

What would I live or die for here,

If I were to destroy our own esteem.

I love by its rules, and

our love will die on its terms.

I will not bend my ways.

Not for transient joys.

Nor for finite pains.

For this love and vow,

Was made afore infinite light.
