A secret abode here
Can be elegant and big
It is what you make
A quiet corner
Splendid and magnificent
Made from your yearnings
Make your safe palace
In your imagination
Where it can survive
Elsewhere is futile
They misunderstand solitude
So in your mind rest

wow!! Good poem and excellent image. I know the two one is a head, the other are trees, yet when combined looks like the nerves. I like it!

Excellent point True George. This poem is mostly aimed at nonconformists whose imagination and mind has not been tampered with. However, I think others can benefit too. Perhaps if they explore their imagination more they may break those chains.
